Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping/ Laundry Assistant to be part of the team in The Oaks Care Home. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow, The Oaks is a high quality facility offering care for vulnerable people with mental health problems with a focus on restoring confidence and enabling them to live independent lives.

Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
- Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
- Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Salary: £10.50 + overtime rates + benefits
Hours: 15 per week
