Job Title: Director of Data
Salary: £100,000-£120,000 per annum

As they continue to grow and expand operations, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Data to join the dynamic team.
As the Director of Data, you will play a pivotal role in driving their data strategy and ensuring that data is leveraged effectively to support the business objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Data management, including data governance, data quality, data integration, and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
- Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
- Lead the design and implementation of Data management frameworks
- Oversee data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of Data across various systems and platforms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify data-driven insights and opportunities for business growth
- Build and manage a team of Data scientists, analysts and engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data management and analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data capabilities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role, with a focus on data management and analytics
- Strong knowledge of Data governance frameworks, data modelling, and data integration techniques
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualisation tools
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in building and managing high-performing data teams with a strong focus on learning and development.
