Business Development Director - Data Centre Build

We are currently working in partnership with one of the UK’s largest Civil Engineering companies. They are looking to strengthen their Business Development team with an experienced individual to assist with growth plans in the Data Centre Build market. The estimated initial project enquiry range will be between £5M and £50M.

As Business Development Director, this role offers long term career security with full autonomy whilst working with an experienced team of senior leaders.

Key Essentials:

* As Business Development Director you will be responsible for the development and success with new clients in the Data Centre Build sector including operators, renewable energy developers and EPC contractors

* Responsible for identifying new business opportunities by researching market trends and competitor activity. Developing and implementing business strategies, driving revenue growth whilst managing customer relationships at all levels

* You should be able to hit the ground running with established major contacts, whilst working closely with the technical team to understand customer requirements and develop customised solutions to meet their needs

* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional material. Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals whilst ensuring customer satisfaction

* Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to the Board of Directors

Requirements:

* As Business Development Director you should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience at a senior level in the Data Centre Build and renewable energy sectors

* It is essential that you have a proven track record in the business to business environment, developing and implementing successful Business Development strategies in the Data Centre market

* As Business Development Director you should be an outgoing individual with excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
