My client, who is based in one of the most beautiful cities in the country, has a fantastic opportunity for a strong, professional DGM/Operations Manager join their team. You will lead the day to day operation of the hotel; ensuring customers are delighted with the hotel’s service, facilties and staff.
My client has a fantastic reputation for developing their Operations Managers into future General Managers within the Group, with four new openings this year alone. The ideal candidate will be an all rounder who is looking for an Operations Manager position with a view to becoming a General Manager in the near future. The company provides extensive, individually tailored training plans for their senior team to give them the tools to become the GM’s of the future.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualification in Hotel Management or related subject (or equivalent industry experience)
- Previous Operations Manager or or DGM experience within a large hotel ( 150 rooms or more)
- Knowledge of current legislation – Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Liquor licensing and Employment Law.
- Finance and commercial awareness
- Leadership and delegation are of paramount importance
- Effective communication skills
- Planning and organisation skills
- Proven ability in recruiting, training and motivating Managers and their staff

Live-in accommodation is unavailable for this role: however a relocation package to assist the successful candidate with costs and short term accomodation may be available.
