We are on the lookout for a Hotel Receptionist to give our guests the best welcome possible!
Responsibilities:
Attend to visitors, dealing with inquiries on the phone and face to face, and booking in Hotel Reservations on the Hotel program Opera. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients, and customers.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- answer telephone, screen, and direct calls
- take and relay messages
- provide information to callers
- greet persons entering the hotel
- direct persons to correct destination
- deal with queries from the public and customers
- monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
- book hotel reservations on Opera software using the booking form
- control inventory relevant to the reception area and communicate to the Manager when inventory is low.
- perform end/beginning day duties
- provide general administrative and clerical support
- prepare correspondence and documents
- receive and sort mail and deliveries
- maintain restaurant diary
- Direct Clients attending meetings and organize catering if required
- monitor and maintain office equipment
- tidy and maintain the reception area
- AOB as may be required
Requirements:
Previous experience of working in a Hotel reception role is preferable but not essential
1 year of administration experience essential.
Knowledge of catering practices preferred.
Working shifts - [6:45am to 3:15pm] [Mid-shift] [2:45pm to 11:15pm]
Availability to work weekends is essential.
