Our client is looking for a Housekeeper/General Cleaner to join their team at this excellent Country Pub/Restaurant with 16 attached en-suite hotel guest bedrooms in Newport Pagnell
The hours are 9am - 3pm, 5 days per week, including shifts over the weekend.
Own Transport would be ideal due to location.
The Role:
We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able of attending to the accommodation and customer areas. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for the guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our clients reputation.
Housekeeper Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining the accommodation bedrooms and bathrooms before, during and after the guests’ stay.
- Maintaining cleanliness of a two bedroom serviced apartment.
- Performing a variety of general cleaning activities in customer and employee areas, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies
General Responsibilities:
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Your Experience will ideally consist of:
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritisation and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Good Knowledge of English language
