Housekeeping Assistant - Bayview Care Home

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to be part of the team in Bayview Care Home. Located in Cruden Bay, a scenic coastal village 23 miles north of Aberdeen, Bayview enjoys an array of beautiful coastal views. Converted from a traditional family house, Bayview has been modernised to provide exceptional standards of care in a warm, homely environment. We cater for older people including the frail elderly and those living with dementia and its related conditions.

Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
• Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
• Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents

Skills and Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Salary: £11.50 per hour + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 24 per week
