We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at this New Hostel in Edinburgh City Centre.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of our establishment.
Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a pleasant and comfortable environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens and make beds
- Vacuum carpets and sweep floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor while interacting with guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic cooking skills are a plus
Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
