Salary £13,480 per annum for 20/hours per week

- Supervising the Domestic Assistants to ensure the delivery of a timely and efficient Housekeeping Service
- Liaising with student residents to encourage responsible use and care of residential facilities
- Management of attendance, performance and conduct
- Assisting the Head Housekeeper and Cleaning Services Manager with their responsibilities
- Liaising with other departments, including Maintenance and Accommodation, as required.
To be considered for this interesting role, you will need to have:
- GCSE Grade C (or above) in Maths or English or equivalent
- Substantial experience in a Housekeeping supervisory role within a hospitality environment
- A positive track record for problem-solving
- Detailed knowledge of the usage and application of a range of cleaning products
- A thorough understanding of the responsibilities of a Housekeeping function
- Good understanding of relevant Health & Safety provisions, including COSHH, manual handling and lone working
- The ability to lift, move and bend in order to carry out the requirements of the role, in line with Risk Assessments and after training
- Proficiency in the use of emails and Databases
- A good command of the English language.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a flexible approach to tasks and able to work without direct supervision, prioritising a busy workload.

The post of Housekeeping Services Supervisor is a permanent part-time role.
We are seeking an accomplished Housekeeping Services Supervisor.
It is anticipated that 10% of the weekly working time will be spent on administrative duties.
Hours of work 20 hours/week (Monday-Friday, although some weekend working will be required – for which notice will be given), with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. There is potential for a degree of flexibility on start/finish times. The annual salary is £13,480 per annum for 20 hours per week (Step 29 on the College Salary Scale).
