A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR AT THE MET HOTEL, LEEDS
We are currently looking for a friendly and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor with the passion and drive to support our Housekeeping team, and lead our Room Attendants in delivering a great experience for each and every one of our guests.
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, we are looking for someone who enjoys variation and has a flexible approach to their working environment.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Ensuring the highest level of cleaning standards, assigns duties accordingly while inspecting all aspects to make sure everything meets industry standards
- Training our colleagues and checking that standards are consistently achieved
- Supporting the team in cleaning rooms, working to ensure our back of house areas are sparkling, and our public areas are clean, safe and inviting.
You’ll be called upon to complete a wide variety of tasks and jobs within our hotel and it’s extremely important that you remain flexible and versatile around these. Although this isn’t a full guest facing role, you will still play a vital part in delivering a fantastic guest experience and it’s important to remain friendly approachable and the best version of you whenever you come in to contact with one of our guests.

To succeed in the role of Housekeeping Supervisor you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Previous Housekeeping supervisory experience is preferred
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
- Excellent organizational skills and time managemen
- A can-do attitude
