In this role, you will supervise the efficient running of the cleaning operation for the site accommodation units and all areas of the main site. The Housekeeping Team Leader will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are achieved on a daily basis by overseeing and developing a team of cleaning operatives/housekeepers.
Responsibilities:
- Leading by example, completing cleaning tasks to the highest standard.
- Assigning cleaning tasks to each team member, making sure that the workload is distributed fairly and evenly.
- Supervising all cleaning staff and focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and performance.
- Ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the site and accommodation.
- Completing and monitoring the cleaning rota.
- Overseeing and inspecting the work of the cleaning team, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning or a related field is essential
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Friendly and approachable personality with excellent customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
