SalaryVANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large not-for-profit organisation in Ballymoney with the recruitment of a Housing Advisorto join their growing team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.
Salary
£23,184 per year + fantastic benefits
Responsibilities:
- To provide an excellent customer service by acting as the first point of contact for tenants and other customers.
- Deal with house sales enquiries by providing information on the organisation's policies.
- Generating offers of housing accomodation and assisting housing officers in the allocation process.
- Creating and maintaining tenancy records.
- To provide advice and guidance to tenants and customers relating to complaints about service quality.
- Processing rent payments from tenants.
- Scheduling appointments for Housing Officers to deal with more complex housing issues.
- Establish and maintain manual and electronic records and filing systems.
- Assisting with promoting the service by designing leaflets & updating information on the website.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a busy office environment
- Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a customer service role.
- Experience of preparing reports for management.
- Strong knowledge of administrative systems.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to plan and meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English Language and Maths
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working in a housing management department.
- 2 A Level Qualifications.
- Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 Award in Housing.
