As a key member of the Housing Options team, you will be the first point of contact for customers wishing to discuss housing options, providing advice and assistance and completing an initial assessment of customers circumstances. You will also liaise and advise statutory and voluntary agencies on a range of housing issues and homelessness.
What you will need:
- experience of working with the general public
- excellent communication and written skills
- to be a team player
- to be able to understand and implement housing law and policies.
Whilst knowledge of housing options and homelessness is desirable, it is not essential. This role provides an entry level step for a career in Housing Options and Homelessness and therefore we would welcome applications from those with less experience with the right attitude, ability and desire to learn.
