Housing Assistant

Think Community Partnership are delighted to be working with a Local Authority to recruit for a Housing Assistant in Wolverhampton

Overview

• Immediate start
• Temporary contract - ongoing
• Paying up to £18ph
• Office based Monday - Friday
• 37hrs pw

As a Housing Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Carry out thorough verification checks and affordability calculations on applications for housing and garages, ensuring that Housing Legislation and guidance is followed.
• Take a proactive approach in the allocation process, ensuring that adverts and offers are progressed in a quality and timely manner in order to minimise the turnover time of voids and to maximise rental income.
• Ensure that all properties are allocated according to the latest policies and procedures.

The successful Housing Assistant will need:

• Experience in Allocations/Lettings of properties in Housing
• Good Customer service skills
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
