Housing Options Assistant - DEE05365

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and at East District Housing office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

The postholder will also assist with the ongoing management of cases by co-ordinating all services required or received by clients and by monitoring case progress. In addition, you will provide a comprehensive clerical and administrative service to both the Housing Options and Temporary Accommodation Teams.You will have knowledge of housing/homelessness legislation and issues and experience of working with the public in a front line service, together with experience of interviewing and telephone contact.
You will have good communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to manage a caseload with minimum supervision. Processing/analytical skills are also required. You will be customer focussed, able to work under pressure, flexible/ adaptable and team orientated.
A Basic Disclosure Scotland check is also required.
