I am working with a local authority who is looking for a customer focussed housing professional with experience of choice based lettings and allocations. You will be supporting us to support customers and ensure that we transfer our housing register to our new CBL system effectively.
Job Role
To assist potential and newly registered home seekers as required in understanding and accessing Council's choice-based lettings scheme.
To assist vulnerable home seekers as required with the bidding process to ensure the scheme is fully accessible
Administer applications for the housing register in line with policy and within agreed timescales, ensuring that necessary proofs are sourced and complete, inputting data onto the system and ensuring assessments of housing need are accurate.
To activate completed and fully validated housing register applications and notify the priority need Band to home seekers within agreed timescales so that they can begin to bid for homes.
Assisting with answering calls to the council CBL line.
Assisting with the registration of housing applications.
Contacting customers to support them to fully complete their housing applications and provide all necessary documentation.
