4Recruitment Services are seeking  a Housing Service Charge Officer to assist our housing association client  based in Bedfordshire.
(Client allows Hybrid Working)

You will be required to assist with customer enquiries and complaints, supporting the Service Charge Area Manager.

This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity of rents and Service Charges, providing accurate and transparent rent reviews, Service Charge estimates, and summaries of expenditure.
You will also offer guidance and advice to colleagues on rents, Service Charges, and general management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Deliver all aspects of Service Charges for a designated patch with the support of the Service Charge Area Manager.
• Ensure the accuracy and transparency of rent reviews, Service Charge estimates, and summaries of expenditure.
• Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on rents, Service Charges, and general management.
• Play a key role in the Homeowner Service, championing and role modelling the client’s promises.
• Be visible and available to customers and colleagues, delivering an excellent experience every time.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Service Charge management within social housing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of rent and Service Charge regulations and legislation.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle enquiries and complaints effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
