Calderdale Council are recruiting for a Team Leader for their Young Person's Housing Support service in Halifax, to oversee 2 support workers ensuring a good tenancy sustainment and housing management service is being provided.
The Role
The focus of this Housing Support Team Leader role is to lead and supervise the Young Person's Housing Support team, ensuring the provision of high-quality support services for 16/17 year olds and care leavers experiencing homelessness or housing difficulties.
This involves coordinating staff, conducting assessments, developing support plans, identifying appropriate housing pathways, and establishing strong partnerships with other agencies and organizations to meet the needs of Young People effectively.

The Candidate
To be considered for this Housing Support Team Leader role, you will require previous experience of supervising within a supported housing setting and a good knowledge of tenancy sustainment.
Any experience working with Young People will be beneficial.
You will require an enhanced DBS for this position.
The Contract
This is a full time role, working 9-5 Monday to Friday on an initial 6 week contract, which may be extended.
