Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Nottingham
DBS Level: Enhanced Children's & Adults Barred
Who Are the Service Users? Young People, clients aged 16 and above requiring support.
Working Hours: Shift work - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm / 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, including weekends and bank holidays with an unsocial allowance payment.
Car Driver Needed: Yes
Own Vehicle Needed: Yes
Valid Business Insurance: Yes
Job Description:
As a Support Worker, you will provide housing-related support to vulnerable individuals, coupled with housing and property management. The primary objective is to facilitate a successful move-on and achieve measurable outcomes, including supporting service users in gaining independence.
All Roles Include:
Car drivers are required to have business insurance as per legal requirements.
Lone working is a requirement for all positions.
Support workers will manage a caseload of up to 10 clients.
Enhanced adult/child DBS check is mandatory due to the nature of the Young Person service.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing housing-related support for vulnerable individuals.
Managing a caseload of up to 10 clients.
Providing housing and property management support.
Facilitating successful move-ons and achieving measurable outcomes.
Supporting service users in gaining independence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Enhanced Children's & Adults Barred DBS.
Previous experience in a similar support role.
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Car driver with a valid business insurance policy.
Lone working experience.
