About Leigh Day
We are a top 100 law firm committed to claimant-only cases, ensuring that individuals have the same access to justice as the UK Government and large corporations. We are not afraid to take on difficult and challenging cases, and our areas of practice include discrimination in the workplace, defective products, financial services, and human rights abuses in this country and overseas.
About the role
The HR team is busy, dedicated, and well regarded internally. We work hard to respond to the firm’s needs, to deliver a high-quality service to our internal clients,
and to deliver HR initiatives that add value and enhance employee engagement. The
successful candidate will be part of a team of eleven providing HR support to the
London, Manchester, and Leeds offices. There are two sections of the HR team - Recruitment (handling all recruitment into the firm) and HR Operations (handling all HR matters for new joiners, current staff and partners, and leavers).
This is a busy generalist HR role. The post-holder will primarily be involved with the day-to-day operations of the HR team, supporting all team members to ensure an efficient, professional, responsive service is provided to the firm. The exact duties and responsibilities may be subject to change over time as the firm and post-holder develop.
