Position Overview:
As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Office Manager in various areas of the business. You will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about HR to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating the completion of paperwork.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including responding to inquiries and helping to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management processes, and training and development initiatives.
- Handle HR administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivilent.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Must have full rights to work in the U.K.
