Are you a seasoned HR professional looking for your next career move? Chichester Recruitment invites you to join our clients team as an HR Administrator for an initial 6 month contract (there is a chance that the role may become permanent) for an exciting opportunity. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in overseeing the complete employee lifecycle, from end-to-end recruitment and onboarding to training and development. As the first point of contact within the HR team, your outstanding communication skills and ability to manage diverse responsibilities will set you apart.

Key Responsibilities HR Administrator:

  • Facilitate staff resourcing and onboarding activities, including drafting job descriptions and preparing job evaluation assessments.
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, ensuring seamless interview arrangements, paperwork completion, and recording.
  • Act as the point of contact for reference requests and queries, liaising with Compliance as necessary.
  • Arrange pre-employment checks in line with internal procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Manage the administration of the induction process, ensuring firmwide inductions are conducted by line managers and Personal Development Plans (PDPs) are in place.

Training:

  • Liaise with the Securities Institute (CISI) and external training providers.
  • Make appropriate bookings for staff to attend training courses and examinations.
  • Assist with the administration of Knowledge and Experience Assessments.
  • Ensure training records are accurately maintained and logged.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Support the HR team in the administration of the annual pay review process.
  • Assist the Compensation and Benefits Manager with basic payroll queries and administration.

Employee Lifecycle/General Administration for HR Administrator:

  • Carry out general HR administration, including changes to terms and conditions, leaver letters, and tracker updates.
  • Assist the HR team with straightforward internal employment procedures (e.g., absence management, flexible working requests, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, disciplinary, grievances, notetaking).
  • Assist in the administration of the annual appraisal process.
  • Work with the Compensation and Benefits Manager to maintain the online HR system.
  • Manage the HR inbox, delegating tasks to appropriate team members as required.

General:

  • Act as a point of reference and support for managers, interpreting and applying appropriate rules and principles.
  • Contribute to Management Information (MI) for Board, Risk, and other Management Reports.
  • Fulfill all other ad hoc duties as required by the Senior HR Adviser.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Deliver a service recognized as 'good' by staff, meeting agreed service levels and complying with legal and FCA standards.
  • Manage all issues and queries to satisfactory closure.
  • Follow all relevant in-house policies and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of all business activities.
  • Ensure negligible administration errors.
  • Deliver accurate outputs (data input, reports, calculations, letters, and emails) on time.
  • Maintain effective communication with other team members.
