Job description

My highly prestigious and well-respected client based in the Kendal area, are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join their team on a full time and permanent basis due to the internal promotion of a member of the team.

Reporting into the HR Business Partner, the successful HR Administrator will be responsible for providing a valued service to employees and vital role within the HR function.

The key roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • End to end HR Administration support to HRBP and Head of HR covering all elements of employee lifecycle
  • Management of HR databases
  • Ensuring all queries are answered promptly and efficiently
  • Supporting the resolution of day to day ER queries, and escalating where required
  • Produce reports and spreadsheets as appropriate to provide management information to the HRBP
  • Supporting the production of content for the e-learning system, website and social media
  • Providing day to day advice and guidance to Managers and employees on HR related queries
  • Assist in formal meetings such as disciplinaries and grievances
  • Supporting on recruitment and attraction of candidates
  • Roll out of the induction and other e-learning packages
  • Monitor sickness and absence and report as appropriate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a can do, customer first attitude
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced and demanding work environment
  • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to interact with people at all levels
  • Be highly organised, efficient and methodical
  • Have HR experience in the workplace or be studying towards / have CIPD
