SalaryI'm looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior HR Administrator to join our client's team in Kendal. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing HR support and guidance to managers and employees across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line HR advice, guidance, and support to managers on people-related matters, including complex issues.
- Produce employment contracts, contractual changes, and other HR correspondence in a timely manner.
- Facilitate and deliver training on company policies and procedures.
- Maintain HR electronic data, manual personnel files, and records in compliance with GDPR.
- Work with team leaders to ensure consistent application of the company's attendance policy.
- Liaise with external Occupational Healthcare provider to support sickness absence management.
- Attend and minute formal absence reviews, disciplinary, grievance, and appeal hearings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an HR Admin role, preferably within a Manufacturing environment.
- Some employee relations experience would be preferable
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- First-class verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Salary Range & Benefits
The salary for this role is £26,000-£28,000. The company also offers excellent benefits including enhanced pension, onsite parking and cycle to work scheme.
