Hr Administrator

Your new company
A legal firm based in Leeds City Centre is looking to appoint a permanent HR Administrator to join their collaborative and welcoming team.
This is a great role for someone with around 6 months of HR/Recruitment experience, to continue building on their career.
Your new role

• Undertake all activities related to the Company pre-employment screening process to ensure all new starters have complied with and submitted what is required as per their role.
• Provide general administration duties to the HR team. This includes but is not limited to:
• Maintain employee records and HR database;
• Produce electronic employee files and filing of documents on employee files;
• Support with recruitment activity where appropriate; note taking, resourcing.
• Respond to basic HR queries from employees;
• Produce contractual letters in line with any changes such as salary, hours, role;
• Produce offer packs and employment contracts;
• Produce references for ex-employees
• Make all administrative arrangements in line with the Company Induction. Be involved with the delivery of the induction as and when may be required.
• Any other ad-hoc duties which may arise.
• Transferring data to the new Workday system and train employees on Workday.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in HR/ Recruitment Administration.
• Pre-employment screening experience is desirable.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to consistently work at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy;
• A self starter, confident and able to engage and communicate professionally at all levels;
• Professional and customer focused approach;
• Experience of working in a high volume environment;
• Team Player with a 'can do' attitude.
