HR Advisor – Scarborough – £26,790 (12 Month FTC)
Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a well-established, reputable organisation who are leaders in their specialist sector. They are currently looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join their employee relations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor or HR Assistant looking to take their next step as full training can be provided. You’ll work closely with fellow HR colleagues within the Employee Relations team to support line managers across the wider organisation, providing accurate and comprehensive advice.

Providing accurate advice and support across a broad range of HR processes relating to employee relations including health & wellbeing and occupational health referrals
Advising managers on relevant employment law and organisation policies and procedures
Assisting managers with the recruitment and onboarding process as necessary
Overseeing absence management including reporting and ensuring sickness documentation compliance inline with the organisations policy
Supporting within formal meetings and hearings, including the organisation of meetings, preparing relevant documents, note taking and advising during formal hearings
Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to manage key HR processes including fixed term contracts and probation
Travelling across other sites when requiredRequired Skills & Experience:
CIPD qualified or working towards
Proven experience within a similar role working within a busy HR function
Strong understanding and knowledge of employment law and legislation
Self-motivated with the ability to organise own workload and participate effectively in a team
Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders on all levels
