Responsibilities:
- To provide advice and guidance to managers and colleagues at all levels on all HR and apply best practices alongside employment legislation
- Maintain and improve relationships between colleagues, managers and local trade union representatives and actively encourage consultation between parties to maximise a positive working environment
- Provide support and advice to Managers in the recruitment and selection of colleagues in terms of advertising and selection methods
- Support managers to coordinate and deliver corporate training and development activities
- Work with Head of HR to implement change management tools
- Create and review HR policies and procedures considering best practices and establish clear guidelines
Skills and experience required:
- CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience working in a similar HR Generalist position
- Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships quickly
- Ability to work well under pressure
