Job Description: HR Advisor - Watford
Location: Watford, with travel to multiple sites including Lincoln, Tunbridge, Estley, Bridgewater, and occasional visits to Somerset and Blackpool.
My client is look for a collaborative individual, who can use leadership and influence without authority to co-create and build effective work relationships across the organisation in order to influence learning, continual improvement, and innovation across the business.
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
Contract: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.

Essential Skills | Qualifications
- Level 5 CIPD qualified.
- Experience of successfully managing diverse teams
- Successfully developing and delivering on SLAs
- Experience of using improvement techniques to deliver service improvements.
- Experience of developing and implementing processes to meet policy and service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure the provision of high quality and effective HR Services by managing the day-to-day HR operations/transactional services. To be responsible for continuous service improvement that is responsive to service needs and to line manage the People & Culture Administration team ensuring a high level of service delivery, quality and governance, sharing successes and inspiring confidence.
Employee Relations:
- Provide expert HR support in employee relations, addressing and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Strategically transition away from the current ER management system, ensuring a seamless process.
HR Operations:
- Take charge of day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Development:
- Establish and lead a dedicated HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, contributing to their professional development.
Strategic Contribution:
- Shape and enhance the overall HR function, playing a pivotal role in the strategic development of the department.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Documentation Management:
- Develop, update, and maintain HR documentation using provided templates.
- Ensure documentation compliance with legal standards, minimising administrative overhead.
Advisory Role:
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related advice, offering expertise to employees and managers.
Line Management:
- Take on line management responsibilities for a team of two individuals and two recruitment administrators.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and individual growth.
Recruitment Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with agencies to source, screen, and select candidates.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring a comprehensive and fair evaluation of potential hires.
Agency Relationship Management:
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring effective communication and a collaborative approach to talent acquisition.
- Assess agency performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
