Hr Advisor

A global wholesale business is looking to recruit an HR advisor to join the HR team who oversee the UK markets The company has been established for hundreds of years and produces many different brands that are world renowned and recognised across the globe. They employ over 3,000 people and have offices in ten countries worldwide. It is one of the most financially secure organisations in its market and have embarked on a global project to bring about consistent business working practices across its entire worldwide operation.

The HR advisor will provide support for the entire employee lifecycle from on-boarding to off-boarding. In many organisations the role would be called HR Manager or HR business partner, due to the global structure of this organisation, the role is called HR advisor. You will oversee ER casework and partner with a number of senior stakeholders across the UK to deliver robust development plans for UK based employees. You will own the recruitment process from end to end for senior hires within the UK structure and will play a pivotal part in recruiting the best talent available. You will also work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure robust training and succession plans are in pace. There will be a number of projects that you will undertake in the role, including keeping up to date with changes in international law and how these changes effect the company in these countries effected. You’ll also gain experience supporting with the management of compensation and benefits.

The successful applicant will be currently in a senior HR capacity and will have demonstrable experience across recruitment, talent and succession planning and change management. You’ll possess a proactive, can-do attitude and be someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. The company is looking for someone highly organised, with a keen attention to detail. This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys collating information and is able to share data with senior stakeholders to support driving people agenda.

In return the company is offering a basic salary of up to £55,000, with a 10% annual bonus and a very generous pension plan. The role is a fixed term contract for 12 months although the idea would be for the role to be made permanent in the long run. The business operates a hybrid working model with two days working from home.
