HR Advisor (FTC - Maternity Cover)

(BA2) and hybrid working
Our client is seeking a professional HR Advisor for a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave in Bath, with occasional travel. Candidates from Oxford or Swindon offices welcome, commuting to Bath once a week and either Oxford or Swindon on other days.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in HR or business-related field, or full CIPD qualification.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Minimum 3 years of HR advisory experience in a professional services environment.
- Proficient in using HR systems and data analysis.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory services on employee matters such as performance management, restructuring, maternity leave, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Work with the Recruitment Manager on resourcing needs and coordinate the onboarding process.
- Communicate with the HR Operations Manager and other HR Advisors on ER issues.
- Suggest and implement improvements for HR policies and processes.
- Support HR projects and early careers programs.
- Collaborate with the L&D Advisor on development solutions.
- Ensure accurate data entry and provide regular reports.
