I am working with a growing HR practice offering outsourced HR services to predominantly owner-managed businesses.
I am seeking an HR Advisor to join the team, providing comprehensive HR support and building strong relationships with a portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about adding value and advising on HR matters that are crucial to our clients’ businesses.
Day to Day of the HR Advisor role:
- Work closely with a portfolio of clients, building rapport and providing strategic HR advice tailored to their business needs such as-
- Draft job specifications and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Update HR processes, procedures, and policies, including the Employee handbook and any updates to legislation.
- Ensure an effective induction/onboarding plan is in place for every employee.
- Provide first-level HR advice on employee relations issues, supporting Managers through disciplinary, grievance, absence management and exit processes.
- Create and implement annual employee performance reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the HR Advisor:
- Proven experience in an HR advisory role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and providing HR solutions.
Benefits of the HR Advisor:
- Salary £30000 depending on experience
- Working Hours: 7:30 – 16:00 or 8:30 – 17:00 (with an hour for lunch)
