Summary:
Our Client is currently seeking an HR Advisor to join a growing team operating within the Manufacturing industry.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders. This is aimed at providing support to ensure the effective and seamless delivery of end-to-end HR processes, positively impacting people management across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to foster a collaborative approach to people-related initiatives.
- Provide practical and credible advice and guidance to challenge management, supervisors, and team members on HR best practices, aiming to positively influence people management across the business.
- Independently and confidently manage employee relations matters, including handling sensitive and complex cases.
- Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Stay current with employment law, regulations, and case law, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures. Assist the HR Manager in recommending updates to policies as needed.
- Develop and deliver training materials for relevant stakeholders on how to effectively adhere to HR policies and procedures.
- Support managers in implementing performance management processes.
- Advise on performance improvement plans and facilitate performance review discussions.
- Assist in the recruitment process, encompassing job postings, application screening, and participation in interviews.
Essential criteria:
- HR or business-related undergraduate degree OR CIPD qualification (Minimum Level 5 ).
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a HR Officer, Advisor, or equivalent.
- Proven experience confidently advising managers and other stakeholders on complex employment relation matters.
- Thorough understanding of employment legislation.
- Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to travel to various sites of the organisation, as required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a role within the manufacturing industry
- Understanding of GB and ROI employment legislation
- Level 7 CIPD
- Training and L&D experience
