Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for an HR Officer on a permanent part-time basis located in Belfast, 30 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary of £26,669 per year along with a flexi-time working pattern and staff benefit package.
Our client is one of Northern Ireland's biggest, and well-known charities, which supports some of the most vulnerable in society by offering a wide range of life-changing services.
Offering a wide range of services throughout Northern Ireland, our client also has a very ambitious plan through 2024/2025 to reach the numbers of people who are at risk of becoming homeless or people who are experiencing homelessness.
Responsibilities:
With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:
- Provide effective advice and support to management on all HR and employment queries, ensuring that the organisation's strategic priorities are achieved.
Requirements:
- Hold CIPD membership or actively working towards this.
- 1-year minimum experience in HR policies covering procedures and policies encompassing end-to-end recruitment, on boarding, employee relations, absence management, and grievance and disciplinary cases.
- Sound working knowledge of NI employment legislation.
- Full driving licence and access to transport to meet the business needs of the role.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written along with MS Office skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information/data, confidentiality, and conflict resolution skills, able to resolve problems practically and logically.
