Your new company
As an HR Advisor, you will be joining a cross-border authority to provide administrative support whilst also assisting HR colleagues / management to ensure an efficient and effective HR administration function is maintained which supports the business needs of the organisation.

Your new role
As an HR Advisor you will:
Oversee the complete Pension Administration process, serving as the main point of contact
Proactively assist in all aspects of attendance management administration whilst ensuring adherence to the relevant policies covering two jurisdictions.
Play a crucial role in supporting the organisation\'s recruitment & selection processes across two jurisdictions. This includes tasks such as creating and reviewing job descriptions, preparing contracts, actively participating in interviews, overseeing reporting activities, and managing the complete end-to-end recruitment process.
Ensure pay scales and any associated allowances are kept up to date with all associated pay increases/adjustments applied in a timely/accurate manner across two jurisdictions.
Produce accurate statistical reports for senior management, government responses and ad-hoc requests on an ongoing basis.
Assist in the coordination and provision of training for staff across all grades in the organisation
The HR Advisor will be required to deal with ad-hoc employee queries and respond proactively to Trade Union representatives.
Responsible for regularly reviewing and updating HR policies to ensure adherence to legislative changes in two jurisdictions
The HR Advisor will have a supervisory role for Clerical Officers within the HR Section.
What you\'ll need to succeed
5 GCSE’s Grades A-C or equivalent (including English & Maths) and a Level 5 qualification in Human Resource Management
OR 5 GCSE’s Grades A-C or equivalent (including English & Maths) and at least 3 years’ experience working in a Human Resources role
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in an HR role
Experience of using a Human Resources Management System to analyse data and produce relevant accurate reports within tight deadlines.
Working knowledge of pension related administration activities and ability to apply this knowledge to any pension scheme.
The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality in dealing with employee records and HR related matters.
Proficiency in the use of IT, including Microsoft Office packages i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint etc. in a work environment
Possess a valid Driving licence
