HR and Facilities Assistant - Part Time

We are recruiting for a HR and Facilities Assistant to join a company based in Worthing on a part-time basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week (6 hours per day). This is a hybrid working (4 days in the office and 1 day working from home).
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining HR records, following current processes and procedures, such as annual leave entitlement and sickness absence records
- Assisting with disciplinaries, grievances and other HR matters, including note taking and coordination activity
- Supporting all departments with recruitment, such as offer letters, contracts, and induction packs
- Preparing and handling monthly payroll and queries from management in a timely manner
- Liaising with external payroll providers for payroll processing
- Coordinating general facilities queries working with both internal and external contacts
- Ordering general office equipment (franking machine, printers, paper, stationary, etc.)
- Booking, arranging, and setting up meeting rooms
- Maintaining Health and Safety administrative documentation, ensuring all risk assessments are up to date and ensuring policies and procedures are in line with current regulatory requirements
To be successful for this role, you must have strong HR admin experience, providing efficient support to a busy department. You must be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
