HR Assistant
Location : Camberley
Salary : £27,289.60
Hours : Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm - 40 hours per week.
My client, a specialist Healthcare Provider, is looking for an experienced HR Assistant in Camberley. This is a great opportunity for a HR Assistant to progress their career in Human Resources.
Main duties:
- Forwarding job applications to the relevant manager
- Supporting with communicating with candidates via phone and email prior to interview dealing with any queries that arise.
- Responsible for posting job vacancies on websites and social media websites.
- Inputting absence details from return to work and fit notes, ensuring all information is passed to payroll.
- Produce monthly HR metrics
- Answering calls and record messages as part of the Head Office support team
- Ensure the job description/person specification is up to date and revise as necessary, in conjunction with the recruiting manager.
- Process and collate the appropriate documentation.
- Responsible for producing HR staff files as per standard requirements and for ensuring that records are kept up to date and filed as per the agreed protocol.
- Responsible for maintaining and regularly updating the HR database and the establishment list in line with any contract changes made or new starters/leavers.
- Note taker for Disciplinary/Grievances and another Management meetings when required.
- Support the HR manager with project work when required.
Requirements for the HR Assistant are:
- Qualified at Level 3 CIPD
- UK Driver's License and vehicle
- Happy to complete a DBS check
- Confirmation of 2 COVID vaccinations (unless medically exempt)
- IT literate in Microsoft Office Packages with good keyboard skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Able to maintain confidentiality
