Our semi rural client is seeking a HR Assistant to work with their small friendly team. The business is expanding and this is a great opportunity to join a company with great opportunities for development.
Responsibilities include:
- Carry out HR induction for new employees.
- Assist with organisation of events and staff development days as appropriate.
- Provide a full recruitment function including preparation of job descriptions, person specifications and adverts in conjunction with relevant manager.
- Provide advice and support on short listing, the scoring process and interviewing as required.
- Issue offer letters and contracts of employment to new employees, together with all supporting documentation.
- Receive and process Maternity/Paternity requests and ensure that all eligibility checks are undertaken, and references taken up for all new employees.
- Ensure leaver process is completed, including all documentation, and conduct exit interviews as required.
