Anderson Knight are recruiting a full time HR Assistant to join our client based on the outskirts of Glasgow on a full-time basis, this is a full time permanent position based full time in the office
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting the wider HR function by providing a professional and comprehensive service in line with HR best practice.
The HR Assistant’s main responsibilities include:
- Providing first line advice to manager and colleagues across all divisions
- Escalating complex queries to the HR Manager
- Updating and maintaining HR Systems, ensuring the input of accurate information
- Managing the HR inbox
- Assist with the onboarding process of new employees joining the business
- Support HR Manager by note taking during ER meetings/investigations
- Carrying out reference checks
- Maintain accurate records of all employee data, ensuring the HR system is kept up to date
- Liaise with the payroll team
- Issuing employee engagement surveys
- Support the HR Manager with ad-hoc projects
To be considered for this position, the HR Assistant should:
- Have atleast 2 years’ experience in a HR Admin / HR Assistant position
- Have a relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Studies
- Use own initiative and be able to work independently as well part of a wider team
- Have comprehensive IT skills and be competent in using Microsoft Office packages
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
