Hr Business Partner (12 Months)

Are you an experienced HR Manager or HR Business Partnerlooking to work for a larger organisation in the Bridlington area?

Are you looking for a job where you can partner with senior managers to provide HR support in all aspects of people resource planning and management to be able to deliver the Strategic Plan for the organisation?

We are delighted to be working with a growing organisation with sites across East Yorkshire. They have recently restructured the Human Resources team and are looking for a HR Business Partner to join them initially on a 1 year temporary contract, however this could go permanent for the right person.

What the HR Business Partner job involves

• Work closely senior managers to support with the operational and strategic issues for their business area.
• Planning the resourcing and department structure to align with recruitment and retention strategies.
• Ensure a robust performance management system is in place and monitored regularly.
• Attending departmental meetings to advise on any HR concerns.
• Provide advice and guidance on HR issues, liaising with payroll / pensions colleagues when necessary.
• Keep managers up to date with employment law changes and guidance on any changes to organisational policies and procedures.
• Working with managers on absence management, performance management, disciplinaries and grievances and best practice to follow.
• Support managers and senior leaders with organisational development, restructuring initiatives etc.
• Hold exit interview with employees leaving the organisation and review the process and retention strategy.
• Review recruitment strategy and manage the induction process.

Skills required

• CIPD Level 7 qualification or Degree in HR
• Understanding of Employment Law and continuous CPD
• Background in Employee Relations
• Experience of training managers on HR procedures
• Experience of creating HR policies and procedures
• Highly organised and able to work on your own initiative

• 37 hours Monday to Friday
• 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• 4% Pension
• Car parking
• Dynamic working to work from Bridlington / Scarborough sites with travel to other sites in East Yorkshire when required
