We are on the lookout for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our global HR team. As HRBP, you will be initial contact for managers for advice and guidance on people processes and HR related matters, aligning with best practice and EU/global legislation. You will also assist with more complex employee related queries, alongside the HR Operations Assistant and management teams.
This is a diverse role with responsibility for a variety of HR related activities, both transactional and operational, including employee relations, talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, wellbeing, DE&I and compensation and benefits.
Outside of the generalist HR activities, you will support with HR project work to assist the Chief People Officer (CPO) deliver the overarching HR strategy at CI Games Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and advising managers on all HR related activities, in line with policy, process and best practice.
- Effective and timely end-to-end management of employee relations matters, including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, performance management, sickness, and termination of employment requests, partnering managers throughout the process.
- Escalating complex and high-risk employee relations matters to the CPO, where appropriate.
- Assisting with the maintenance, creation and implementation of HR policies, process maps and associated templates/documentation, in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting with the creation and delivery of training to managers on HR related activities and initiatives, for example performance management, employee relations, and DE&I.
- Helping the CPO and managers deliver cyclical HR activities including but not limited to performance appraisal, compensation reviews, talent management, and succession planning.
- Contributing to the achievement of the overarching HR strategy, alongside the rest of the HR team.
- Analysing HR metrics to provide meaningful insights and reporting on trends.
- General HR administration to assist the HR Operations Assistant, including maintenance of the HR Management System, Hi Bob, and monitoring of the HR email.
- Completing any other ad hoc HR related activities, as required.
Key Requirements:
- CIPD qualification level 5 or above, or an equivalent HR related degree.
- Proven experience working within global organisations in a senior HR advisory/generalist HRBP role, including demonstrable evidence of coaching and upskilling managers.
- Strong knowledge of UK HR legislation and best practice. Experience of HR legislation and best practice across the EU, within Spain, Poland, Romania, France, and Ireland is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and constructively challenge, where appropriate.
- An in-depth knowledge of employment law, best practice, and current developments in the HR profession.
- Computer literate with experience of using HR Management Systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritise and work to competing deadlines.
- Proven experience of HR metrics analysis and associated reporting/trend identification
- Excellent attention to detail.
- An ability to work collaboratively within the HR team, and across the wider business, acting with a high degree of confidentiality and trustworthiness.
