HR Business Partner - Maternity Cover

Seasalt is a modern Cornish company with an ambitious vision. Reporting to the Director of HR Business Partnering and Programmes you’ll be a curious, credible HRBP, good at building trust and comfortable challenging the norm. With a strong commercial and people focus, including a broad understanding of key business levers, this role is key to the continued success of Seasalt.

You’ll need to be based in Cornwall or the South West as there will be regular travel to our offices in Falmouth and Redruth.

This role is offered as a full-time Maternity Cover, expected to last up to 12 months.

You'll help us by:

Working in partnership with your fellow Business Partners, and the wider HR team you will focus on supporting and guiding your stakeholders to create and manage high performing and engaged teams that are focused on delivering the business goals efficiently and driving business profitability.

Driving a proactive approach to the people agenda, questioning and challenging others to get to the root cause of people and business issues and identify solutions. Developing and maintain high functioning relationships with those you support, providing high support and high challenge.

Acting as the main point of contact between your stakeholders and the wider HR team, ensuring a timely and high level of service. Working with stakeholders to develop goal orientated and people centric plans.

Proactively supporting our culture and values and work with those you support to improve employee engagement levels within their teams. Ensuring an inclusive culture enabling everyone to be the best that they can be.

The skills you'll be sharing with the team:

  • CIPD qualification level 5 or equivalent
  • An established HR professional with demonstrable understanding of the majority of HR disciplines and new emerging HR trends.
  • Commercial / Retail sector understanding & experience.
  • Experience of management recruitment – from attraction to selection & succession planning.
  • Good understanding & experience of standard HR KPIs, trending etc.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills.
  • Project management, change management & OD experience.
  • Understanding of how to drive Employee Engagement.
