I am exclusively working with a client within the public sector who is seeking a HR Data Analyst to join our team and help them leverage data to improve their human resources processes and outcomes. As a HR Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analysing, and reporting on various HR-related data sets, such as employee engagement, performance, retention, diversity, and compensation. You will also collaborate with other HR professionals and stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support their strategic goals and initiatives.
**6 Month Minimum Contract - Working 37.5 hours a week - You will be required to attend site for induction and to attend a monthly team meetings**
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain HR dashboards and reports that provide relevant and timely information to HR and business leaders.
- Perform statistical analysis and data mining on HR data to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and causal relationships.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on best practices and industry standards for HR metrics and analytics.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support HR decision making and problem solving.
- Communicate complex data findings and results in a clear and concise manner to various audiences.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity by following data governance standards and procedures.
- Identify and implement opportunities for data automation, integration, and optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR analytics or related field.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
