Our company has experienced significant growth in the EMEA region over the last five years, and we have plans for further expansion. We are currently in search of an HR Generalist with strong payroll /benefit and vendor management based in London to join our HR operations team. In this role, you will manage EMEA EoR operations for multiple countries within the EMEA region, provide local legal and benefit compliance, source and manage vendors, support payroll/benefits under legal entities and provide HR operations services across EMEA countries. Your pivotal role will involve maintaining payroll accuracy, ensuring timely benefit enrolment, managing vendor relationships, and delivering exceptional service to our employees in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the comprehensive Employee of Record (EoR) service process across multiple countries in the EMEA region, working collaboratively with third-party vendors to ensure accurate and timely payments. Validate and gather payroll inputs, including salaries, benefits, allowances, and deductions. Scrutinize and verify payroll calculations, covering statutory deductions, bonuses, and overtime, for each country.
  • Conduct thorough research on legal compliance and benefits under Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) in new countries. Engage in vendor sourcing, manage commercial negotiations, perform price comparisons and analyses, and oversee procurement processes.
  • Manage existing vendors to guarantee the delivery of high-quality services, reviewing various matrix indicators. Cultivate and manage relationships with providers to ensure organisational adaptability and competitiveness. Propose necessary changes to the benefits package. Liaise with benefit providers, conducting annual contract reviews for accurate processing of benefit changes, and reconciling invoices and premiums.
  • Provide support for countries' payrolls under our legal entity by reconciling and validating payroll outputs, such as payslips, tax filings, and social security contributions. Conduct periodic payroll audits to ensure data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve any payroll-related issues. Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities for payroll-related audits, compliance checks, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR and finance teams regarding payroll processes, compliance, and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience Essential

  • Degree in Accounting or Business-related field, or equivalent experience in payroll and benefits department preferred
  • 5 years of related proven experience in EMEA Generalist roles
  • Payroll/benefit vendor and EoR experience
  • Proficiency in at least one European language is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and follow-through skills.
  • Has shown ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for data, ability to provide excellent customer service a must.
  • Ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently or with little supervision.
  • Ability to be effective under pressure, understand priorities, and meet deadlines.
