My client are currently seeking a HR Manager, on a permanent basis, tosupport the management team and senior leadership team in all aspects of human resource management through providing and maintaining a framework of policies, procedures, administration and ongoing advice and guidance with a view of best practice and current legislation

Job Description
- Support and implement on compensation and benefits for Burton alongside the TBC. Including communication, policies, process etc.
- Review, implement and update HR Systems with correct Grading Structure.
- Roll out salary review process and implement transition from approval to payroll, including letters, payroll checking and communication.
- Support in any Training and Development across Burton with the Learning and Development Manager and TBC.
- Support TBC with Burton succession planning for critical management roles.
- Own and report on Objectives throughout Burton via Rexx HR System
- Assist in Graduate and Internship recruitment with TBC and OSI, and support the HR & Recruitment Advisor with management and rotations of UK Graduates.
- Support TBC with communication and engagement across Burton.
- Support TBC with roll out of engagement results
- Expand on KPI’s around engagement, retention, turnover and absence and share with other key stakeholders
- Help support the HR & Recruitment Advisor with the Employee Forum and ACE awards.
- Support the HR & Recruitment Advisor including ER Cases, Absence Management, and Recruitment etc.
- Attending Burton weekly/monthly Management Meetings
- Attend and contribute to the BRC Management Meeting
- Be part of the Burton Crisis Management Team
- Own all Change Management across Burton business, working with key stakeholders (i.e. redundancies, restructures, TUPE)
- Support L&D with Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Training.
- Ensure HR Systems such as Rexx and ATOSS, are effective and continue to improve business efficiency. Build on knowledge and roll out training effectively.
- Promote and strategise Mental Health across Burton i.e. recruiting of Mental Health First Aiders and advertising Employee Assistance Programmes, Mental Health Awareness Days/Week.
- Support the HR & Recruitment Advisor with Employee Relations and own complex grievances and disciplinary cases, policies and procedures and employee mental health and wellbeing.
- To have up to date knowledge of employment law.
- Oversee on boarding of new starters and leavers
- Own GDPR policy across Burton.
- Alongside the Learning and Development Manager, allocate Apprenticeship Levy Funding and implement apprenticeships within the business.
- Management of the site’s food safety culture, to help prevent deviation in the process that impacts the safety, quality and legality of our products.
- Understand and adhere to Company policies and procedures which are relevant to both the site and the working environment.
- Any other duties as deemed reasonable by your line manager or senior management to assist with the operation of the business.
