My client is a reputable, professional Financial Services and Investment company who specialise in providing pro-active and practical solutions throughout the region. They are a friendly, yet dynamic business who are seeking a HR Manager to join their growing team in Taunton.
We are seeking a Generalist HR Manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The salary is up to £60,000 plus benefits.
The successful candidate will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified or above and have a good generalist HR background. You must be a proactive individual who is a confident communicator at all levels. We are looking for an individual who is happy to grow and move forward with the business as it expands and would consider a Director position within the business in the future.
The role
The purpose of the role is to support the senior leadership team and provide management of the day to day HR function. You will be commercially focused and not be a afraid to get under the skin of things in all departments.
You will be required to develop positive and supportive relationships with all internal and external customers and provide them with an excellent HR service. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying improving and implementing HR systems and processes.
Some of the duties include;
- Design and implement a clear and effective people strategy and work with the senior leadership team to develop this
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all HR processes and systems particularly within the recruitment process
- Liaise with the Payroll Manager to prepare and validate monthly payroll
- Oversee effective employment benefits administration
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure that the HR function is a proactive support for staff
- Proactive people management through effective appraisals, feedback and one to one meetings.
The successful candidate must have;
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
- Multi site and commercial experience
- Proven track records of developing and supporting teams through change
- A full understanding of employment law, regulatory and compliance
- A confident communicator across all levels
- Proactive approach to work and change
- An ability to develop strong relationships
