Reed HR are working with a private sector Legal company based in Central London to hire a HR Manager. Salary is £45k - £70k, depending on experience, on a full-time basis at their London office but will need to be open to travelling to other offices as and when required for HR purposes.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute HR strategies in compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
• Establish and deliver L&D initiatives to support employee progression.
• Ensure all people lifecycle administration tasks, policies and procedures are mindful and implemented consistently.
• Advance processes for talent acquisition ensuring the organisation attracts, welcomes and retains top talent.
• Implement effective performance.
• Lead on employee engagement survey with the goal to foster a positive work culture and employee engagement.
• Manage employee relations cases.
• Promote and enhance existing HR policies and procedures.
• Keep up to date with HR trends, legal requirements, and industry best practices. Proactively recommend improvements and changes as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years HR and recruitment experience at managerial level.
• Graduate member of the CIPD or equivalent occupational experience
• Working knowledge of UK employment law and contractual administration
• Proficient in HR Systems and MS office suite
• You will have a hands-on attitude to be able to “get things done”
• Great at stakeholder management and ability to relate to others and really understand their mindset, as well as ability to resolve conflict effectively
