HR Manager – Industry leading OEM – Leeds – Salary: £47,000 - £55,000 + 24 days holiday rising to 25 after 12 months service + bank, company pension scheme and 6x salary Death in Service.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading global OEM based in Leeds.
Reporting into the board of Directors, as HR Manager you will be responsible for:
- Work with the leadership team to establish, implement the HR strategy, workforce planning and culture building aligned with the core values.
- HR policy implementation and coaching Managers on HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Talent attraction, recruitment and retention
- Working with senior management to determine training and development needs, succession planning and ensuring performance management processes are followed.
- Work with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely completion of the monthly payroll and compliance with legislative requirements.
- Provide leadership, support and guidance to the HR Assistant to support their career development.
- Employee engagement including mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
Experience:
- You will be CIPD qualified to level 7.
- Have a proven track record of working within a HR management capacity, preferably within manufacturing or engineering.
- Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR legislation
- Assertive with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with team members at all levels.
- Experience in managing and developing people.
- Adaptable and possess a strong attention to detail.
