HR Manager – Permanent – County Louth

MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading organisation, as they look to add an HR Manager to their team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role:

This role will contribute to and support the design, development and implementation of the HR agenda, placing resilience, succession planning and effective operational structure at the centre of the organisations' people policies.

The main responsibilities:

• Ensure that business leaders are supported to implement key project areas particularly in the areas of change management.
• Work with senior leadership to ensure the structure of our teams and roles across the organisation align with strategic objectives to ensure success.
• Build positive relationships with other departments, utilising these positive relationships to assist with delivery of effective HR support and guidance.
• Maintain strong lines of communication and develop links with external agencies.
• Support, coach & develop line managers to build effective teams and to manage the performance of their employees through positive communication and engagement.
• Provide guidance, leadership, and consultation on all aspects of the employee experience including managing performance.
• Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate HR Policies and Procedures in line with best practice, legal and organisational requirements.
• Manage the recruitment process and on-boarding plan for all new employees, ensuring regular communication and performance reviews throughout the probationary period.
• Contribute to company wide talent / succession planning processes

The Person:

• Educated to degree level and CIPD qualified.
• 5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge and experience of Irish employment legislation.
