Hr Manager

A London based company that delivers safe, suitable homes and vital services for the homeless is looking for an interim (initial 6-month contract) HR manager for an immediate start. It’s a fast-paced environment supporting a friendly and diverse team.  You’ll be responsible for managing a wide range of employee relations matters and will also provide HR advice to managers. You’ll manage a small team including an HR assistant and internal recruiter.
Along with a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme, payday lunch, 23 days paid leave plus bank holidays and birthday off and private healthcare.

As HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances and more.
• Providing expert HR advice to line managers and directors
• Monitoring and reviewing policies implementing change as needed
• Supporting organisational change initiatives

We’re looking for an HR Manager with the following qualities/experience:

• Experience of managing a varied ER caseload
• Experience of working directly with and advising senior managers and directors
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressured environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Have a pragmatic, logical approach to problem solving
• Proven generalist Human Resources experience
• Solid and up to date knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
• Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.

You will be working in the office Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30.
