Purpose of the role
Assume responsibility for a wide range of HR and Administrative tasks in our Head Office to ensure seamless business operations for our employees and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources
Maintaining employee data on the HR System - Sage HRAssisting with Administration and tracking of Training MatrixRecruitment administrationAssist with DBS Applications and trackingIssuing of Uniforms to New Starters using Sage H, Tracking stock levelsComplete any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person Office
Managing the front of house area, including welcoming and settling guestsArranging and organising office meetings as well as taking notes in meetings and distributing actionsManaging company correspondence, this will include managing incoming phone calls, emails, letters, packages and forwarding same to the relevant departments where necessaryCheck deliveries as they arrive and forward to the relevant departmentsFiling and archiving paperwork and a weekly/monthly basis where necessaryCoordinating and managing the maintenance of the office buildingManaging inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operationsSupporting department Heads with administration needs where necessaryComplete any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person Person Specification
Education
GCSETertiary education: Secretarial or Administrative certificate would be preferred Knowledge
Computerliterate with strong Microsoft Office skillsExcellent numeracy and literacy skillsCompetent and effective user of IT Experience and Skills
Experience of having worked in a fast-paced environment in an administrative support roleExcellent attention detailExcellent organisational and time management skillsExcellent listening and communication skills - verbal and written - Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders at all levelsProven team player and able to work independentlyAbility to multi task Desired Attributes
